Please support you newly elected Officers as they are donating their time to help the Post support our Veterans. With one year as your Commander I was hoping for more things to happen that didn’t. So, as no one wanted to be the Commander, I’m doing it again. I love the American Legion, Post 240 and what both are doing to help support our Veterans and our members. Please remember that the next time I do something you don’t like or agree with. Remember, I’m doing the best I can with what I have to work with. You can be part of the problem or the solution that supports me in making this Post the Best Post in Florida. Please help me… On April 30th we held our first Post Poker Run to raise funds for the Fire Alarm System. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this fund raiser possible. Volunteers worked about 194 total hours to pull this endeavor off. We didn’t get the turn out I had hoped for, but I turned over $1282.00 to the Finance Officer. Thanks again to those who helped me. Don’t forget the Post/Aux/SAL/Riders Awards Ceremony on Sunday June 5th at 12:00PM, just before the Fish Fry. Flag Day Ceremony at 5:00PM at the Post on June 14th. Post Inventory and Audit on June 18th 9:00AM. Please support the Ladies of Unit 240 and run for an Officer Position. For God and Country Jimmy Lee Martin Bingo Chairman We always need volunteers to start learning the Bingo ropes so we can give the old volunteers a break every now and then.
