  5. Cooperation • Cooperation is to work together towards a common goal or purpose to get something done. Working with cooperation can change the outcome of a situation. We use cooperation to help us learn more as well as help others learn.

  6. Cooperation • Looks like • Feels like • Sounds like • Draw a picture of cooperation

  7. Conceptual Key PointChange is to transform a person, place, thing or behavior into something new or different. Understanding that change never ends, helps us adjust to ups and downs of events in our world.

  8. Change Reflection How did your area of the room change? What other areas did you see change? Do you like the changes? Why or why not? What is your favorite change?

  9. Picture Puzzle Piece One picture puzzle piece Lyin’ on the sidewalk, One picture puzzle piece Soaking in the rain. It might be a button of blue On the coat of the woman Who lived in a shoe. It might be a magical bean, Or a fold in the red Velvet robe of a queen. It might be the one little bite Of the apple her stepmother Gave to Snow White. It might be the veil of a bride Or a bottle with some evil genie inside. It might be a small tuft of hair On the big bouncy belly Of Bobo the bear. It might be a bit of the cloak Of the Witch of the West As she melted to smoke. It might be a shadowy trace Of a tear that runs down an angel’s face. Nothing has more possibilities Than one old wet picture puzzle piece.

  15. Learning Tasks How did you use Cooperation? How did you CHANGE something today? How many fish did you catch? Why do these fish need the water to be a certain pH? What affects the pH? How many macro invertebrates did you find? Why are they important to our native plants?

  16. Key Point • Native plants of Georgia are important to our area. They grow well because they get the correct temperature, water amounts and the soil and water pH is natural to this area. When non-native plantschange an area, native plants are unable to grow which is harmful to the animals that need those plants.

  17. Immersion area • What ideas do you have for the immersion area? What does the pond look like when native plants and animals are there? What does the pond look like when non-native plants are there? Brainstorm here!
