  4. Abraham’s Legacy By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

  17. Abraham’s Legacy: Trusted God By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised. 11:11

  21. Abraham Was Transformed By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, Hebrews 11:17 (NIV) even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned." Hebrews 11:18

  22. Abraham Was Transformed Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death. Hebrews 11:19

  24. Abraham’s Legacy of Faith All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. Hebrews 11:13

  25. Abraham’s Legacy of Faith And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6
