1. 2008 THEF Educational Events Calendar Welcome to the 2008-2009 THEF year. We hope that you will be able to join us at some of our events listed below. Please check the website (http://thefnc.ache.org) for more details as each event approaches. The THEF board recently voted to adopt a combine membership model, effective Jan 1, 2008. This was done in an effort to become a more distinct subset of ACHE, and our chapter roster list will mirror that of ACHE. Beginning in Jan, to be a local member of THEF, you must be an ACHE member. If you have recently purchased a local membership for THEF, it will run it's course (a full year), and at renewal time you will need to become an ACHE member to continue being a THEF member. Of course, if you are not a member you will still be able to attend all the great networking and social events that THEF has to offer, just at a higher price. In addition, to vote, be on a committee or hold an office, you must be a member. More communication will be sent via email very soon. Please let us know if you have any questions.
