Core Product Roadmap – New Plan • Version 6 focuses on core product improvements and lays groundwork for v7 • Version 7 focuses on “extensibility” for BPs and developer community • Version 7 split into 2-3 smaller releases • 6.1 – April 07 • 6.2 – September 07 • 6.3/7.0 – Early 08 (TBD) • Version 8 continues with “extensibility” to “externalise” the application for BPs • NB add candidate features to bottom

  10. What is the .NET API • The .NET API is a long term strategic solution for Sage CRM extension and module development • .NET API • exposes deeper and richer functionality than COM API • Designed for functionality. (COM designed for simplicity)

CRM .NET Component Base .NET assembly provides iInterface between Core Application and Sage CRM Application Extensions (custom assemblies) Visual Studio 2005 Project Wizards Creation of stub code for rapid project initiation Source Code samples Documentation Only distributed to Development Partners Only DPP staff who have attended the official .NET training program will be able to place support requests. The class will either be available in Conference or online via the DPP program (Instructor Led training classes). Partners can Distribute .NET dlls to customers without revealing source code Protection of Intellectual Property Customers installing Sage CRM Application Extensions required to have installed .NET 2.0 Framework SDK Contents and Availability
