  2. At the end of this learning object you should be able to predict what will happen if the life cycle of a white butterfly is disturbed.

  3. My story begins with a fertilized egg my mother laid on the leaf of aseru-walai plant.

  4. Four days after, I hatch into a larva.

  5. I can grow to about 17 millimeter long. I molt 3 to 5 times before I become a fully grown caterpillar.

  6. After 2 weeks I am ready for pupation. I adapt the color of the plant where I am attached.

  7. Pupa or chrysalis is my resting stage. At this time, I remain immobile and non-feeding.

  8. Actually, inside my pupal case, my wings, and other structures are developing.

  9. After a week, I emerge from my pupal case and fly like the other adult butterfly.
