  1. How to delete unneeded questions from a WBI participant feedback questionnaire (1) • Know that the list of questions is set up as a Word table. • Place the cursor in the area to the left of the row containing the unneeded question, and left click to highlight the row or rows. To highlight a row, place cursor in the area to the left of the row and left click there. When the row is highlighted, it looks like this….. …. but NOT like this. Here, only the cell is highlighted. Go back and highlight the entire row, or rows.

  2. How to delete unneeded questions from a WBI participant feedback questionnaire (2) • Right click to bring up the menu that includes the “Delete Rows” option. • Select “Delete Rows.”

  3. How to delete unneeded questions from a WBI participant feedback questionnaire (3) If you see this option, it means only the cell was selected, not the entire row. Don’t delete cells. The result will look jumbled. Go back (click somewhere outside the menu) and highlight the entire row. • If you get a menu that does not include the “Delete Rows” option, you might have selected a cell or a block of text rather than an entire row. • Tip: If you want to delete multiple questions or make edits based on a marked-up copy, start from the end of the questionnaire or the bottom of the table, so that the question numbers in your working file will be congruent with the question numbers in the marked-up copy.
