  1. Youth For the Environment Day When? All level activities-> CCE lesson on 17th April (Thursday)

Time: 1000-1100 • Upcycling-> transform daily household waste to usable and creative items • Submission of one best prototype from each class accompanied with 100-word brief description • Internal Competition-> Top 3 classes will be awarded prizes Teacher ICs: Year 1: Mr Steven Kweh Year 2: MsSumitha, Student IC: Joycelyn Year 1 and 2 Activity: Eco-art making

Time: 1130-1230 • 3 Energy Conservation, 3 Water Conservation for each class • Submission of the best poster for each category. • Energy conservation-> put in classroom • Water conservation-> Put in canteen/toilets/water coolers • Internal Competition-> Top 3 classes will be awarded prizes Year 3 Activity:PosterFor Change Teacher IC: MrEmmanuel Student IC: Hong Wei, Aloysius

  4. Each class need to come up with an environmental song of at least 1 min • Can create own music, or use existing music and change lyrics • Internal Competition: Top 3 classes will be awarded prizes Year 4 Activity:Eco Music Challenge Teacher IC: Mrs Eunice Tay Student ICs: Chelsea, XueHui

  5. Learn about food security and sustainability • Class split into 5 groups-> create restaurant with insect menus • Submission of restaurant name, logo, main dish, appetizers, dessert, soup, drink with insects as main ingredients • Internal Competition-> Top 3 classes will be awarded prizes! Year 5 and 6 Activity:Critter Cuisine Teacher IC: Year 5: MsLee SzeHui Year 6: Mrs Constance Tan Student IC: Xiang Yun

  6. When? 23-25 April (Wednesday-Friday) • Where? Canteen Teacher IC: Ms Neo, MsSumitha Student IC: Tania YED + WWF Exhibitions
