What is a management framework? • Two key dimensions: applied-conceptual and static –dynamic • Conceptual: concerned with the abstraction or understanding of a situation. • Applied: concerned with concrete action in a practical environment. • Static: concerned with the structure and position of elements within a system. • Dynamic: concerned with causality and interaction between the elements of a system.
