  1. Giulio Natta Giulio Natta was born on February 26th 1903 at Porto Maurizio and died in Bergamo when he was 76 because of Parkinson disease. 1111

  2. He graduated in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico of Milan when he was only 21. In 1963 he got the Nobel Prize because he invented the plastic composition.

  3. Today we do not realize the big importance of plastic, in fact almost every toy (containers, disposable, things, …) is made of this material.

  4. Plastic with time became a really important material and its production increased very much. This unfortunately brings to increase of oil consumption.

  5. Giulio Natta is my hero because: his invention gave my grandad the possibility of planting a small factory of plastic kitchenware such as fridge-boxes, mugs and jugs of different sizes. These objects are very strong, handy and cheap, because they are made of plastic.
