He will be at all H. T. Hackney Trade Shows to assist you. We offer professional planograms utilizing Spaceman Professional. • Foodservice—Our foodservice specialists are available to assist you with any and all Deli needs. We offer full foodservice programs such as Nathans Famous, Oscar Mayer, Caribbean Crème, Foster Farms, and Coffee Beanery. We, also, offer our own branded programs—we have Pirelle’s Pizza, Chappy’s Chicken, and Crossroads Café. • A National Supplier—We have a strong working relationship with manufacturers, resulting in programs proven to drive sales and enhance your bottom line.   6. Superior Service We’re often asked what makes us different from other wholesalers. In a word, it’s service. At H. T. Hackney, we believe that there is more to being a wholesaler than delivering groceries at a great price. Where other wholesalers have cut their sales force and eliminated both in store visits and merchandising teams, we have added to our team. We provide more than a delivery service. Our Account Manager works with both the your office and your Store Personnel. He will demo new items, recommend replacements for deleted/non—turning items, take care of all your credits, keep your tags current, assist with resets— by providing both manpower and category flow. He will cut new items into sets. Your account manager will have the latest tools of the trade to provide you with the most up-to-date information on the trade. We don’t believe that just because we’ve always done it a certain way, that that’s the best way. We strive to stay ahead of the curve in providing you the information you need to be successful, helping to keep your eyes focused on your business. Your account manager will have many tools at his disposal. He will be able to be in constant contact with you, by phone, text, and email. He’ll have access to the web at any time—using his phone, tablet, and/or laptop. All of our credits are electronically handled at the store level. He will be able to print tags at the store, giving him the ability to make changes that you or your managers have requested. You will have a dedicated customer service representative. She will be the go-to-person when you or your managers need to contact someone at the warehouse. She is knowledgeable about your account, will work with your account manager to provide you exceptional service.

Technology Real time, online account access, including accounts receivable, invoices, movement data, graphical trend reporting, current price and retail, item inventory, UPC data, and cigarette brand reporting are all available through our web access. With online access through the HT Hackney Corporate and Newton websites you are able to simplify many of your tasks. From creating custom order guides, ordering and viewing orders to forced distribution, our online access is designed to assist you and make tasks easier. Many of the reports that you need can be configured to automatically run for you and they will be in your inbox the morning you need it. You are able to view new items, authorize items, and maintain SRPs in a user friendly manor. You can view monthly money savers and sales bulletins and order for your locations, all from your desk. HOSS—a powerful handheld tool operating on the Microsoft PocketPC platform allows customers the ability to perform various functions including: placing orders, generating build-to-orders, viewing cost and retails, and many more tasks. It will generate a suggested order for a specific location, based on an 8 week average. Item movement is displayed along with the last purchase date, cost, and retail on one easy to read display. The screen is color coded to instantly tell your managers if the items are low on stock, out of stock, substituting to a new item, or deleted by the manufacturer. Scanning the shelf tag, the item, or the case, makes ordering simpler. Intermec—a H. T. Hackney Employee handheld device that allows for ordering, creating shelf tags, and issuing credits. The information is updated daily, allowing your account manager the ability to take care of all your needs. No more handwritten tags or waiting for information to effectively take care of your locations. Our merchandisers use the POET system to accomplish the same task.

  8. Food Service Programs From take and bake to heat and serve, we have everything you’ll need. We offer beverage programs from coffee and tea to soft drinks and slushies. The H. T. Hackney Company supports many food service items and programs. We have several Branded food service programs without the franchise fees that feature Tyson’s Products. These include Chappy’s Chicken, Crossroads Café Subs, and Pirelle's Pizza.
