  2. Introduction Our God is faithful! He will complete His purpose and will in our lives. He is faithful to His Word, people and plan Deuteronomy 7:9Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

  3. Meaning The root of the Hebrew words translated "faithful" and "faithfulness“ means to prop or stay or support. When the word "faithful", is applied to a person, it means someone you can safely lean upon. The New Testament Greek word carries the same idea and means trustworthy or to be relied upon.

  4. God’s Faithfulness is Great Lamentations 3:23They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Psalm 36:5Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. There is no end to God’s faithfulness. He is faithful in all that He does!

  5. God is Faithful to His Word Psalm 119:89-90Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. 90Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides. God will keep His promises. We can stand on His Word with confidence.

  6. God is Faithful to His People 1 Peter 4:19Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. God stands by His people when they suffer. People may kill the body, but they cannot touch the soul!

  7. God is Faithful to His People 2 Timothy 2:13If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. God's faithfulness is manifested in standing by His people and saving them even when they are unfaithful to Him.

  8. God is Faithful to His People 1 Corinthians 10:13No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. God demonstrates his faithfulness by not letting Satan tempt His children beyond their ability to resist, and God always provides an escape.

  9. God is Faithful to His People 2 Thessalonians 3:3But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. God's faithfulness is shown in strengthening and protecting His people, guarding them from the evil one, sanctifying them wholly and preserving them without blame at the coming of Jesus. This confidence of God's children in regard to their future is not in their faithfulness, but in His.

  10. God is Faithful to His People 1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God's faithfulness is manifested in His forgiving His children when they confess their sins.

  11. God is Faithful to His People Psalm 143:1-2Hear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, And in Your righteousness. 2 Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no one living is righteous. God's faithfulness is declared when He answers the prayers of His people.

  12. God is Faithful to His Plan Jeremiah 29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. God's faithfulness is shown by His plan that He has purposed to accomplish in our lives. We have a glorious future based on His faithfulness.
