  2. From ancient times Lithuanians believed that spring water has got some magical power .

  3. The natural monument of spring water “The Eye” of the Ula is on the left terrace of the Ula’s bank. Its surface is slightly winding.

  4. The waterhole called ”an eye“ is 4.4m length, 3.4m width and 1.22m depth. • .

  5. The temperature of the spring water is about 8-9°C and general mineralization is about 120.45 mg/l. The water is clear, colourless, odorless and has a slight taste of iron.

  6. In comparison with drinking water’s standards, it has 1.3 times more of manganese and is about twice as large of iron.

  7. The inhabitants of the surrounding villages usethe water from “theEye” of the Ulafor drinking and healing purposes.

  8. Senior inhabitants believe that this spring’s water can helpwithvariousdiseases. Particularly, ifpeople use the spring water after the sunset or at the sunset.
