  3. Review past Math skills. • Master CSO’s from the state. • Topics: • Place Value • Fractions • Ratios • Negative Numbers • Algebra Expressions • Graphing • Probability Our Agenda

  4. You need a 1-1½ binder, paper, dividers, & pencils. • Your binder will have 4 sections. • 1- Resources and homework help • 2- Daily Review • 3- Class notes, class work, Homework • 4- Vocabulary & Journal Math Binders

  5. Enter quietly and in an orderly fashion. • Bring in homework and needed supplies. • Sharpen your pencil, 2 at a time. • Start work on your daily review. • Be ready to work hard. • Expect a great day! • If you are tardy • Bring a note • Sit down quietly and catch up Entry Procedures

  6. Student Responsibility Cards • Give me 5 • 1-Eyes on Speaker • 2. Quiet • 3. Be still • 4. Hands free (put things down) • 5. Listen Class Procedures

  7. Toys, food, cell phones, and loose papers DO NOT belong in our room. • Keep hands, feet, paper, books, and pencils off your neighbors’ desks. • You may not go to the restroom during instruction time. • Raise your hand before getting out of your seat. • Do not leave classroom without permission. • My desk is my property, do not touch any of the items on or in my desk without permission. • Follow directions the first time they are given. Class Guidelines

  8. Copy down homework in assignment book. • CLEAN your desk and the area around it before you leave. • Do not leave until I dismiss you. • Walk out the door. End of Class Procedures

  9. Respect that others are still working! • Work in a puzzle book from the red crate. • Organize your Math notebook. • Read a book. Down Time

  10. Have assignment finished. • Make sure it is ALL legible. • Use pencil ONLY! • Put your name on every page. • Make sure the correct heading is on the top of your paper. (Page, section, date) • Keep all assignments in your Math binder. Homework Procedure

  11. Absent work • Test • Notebooks • Handouts from the office “You’ve Got Mail”

  12. Respect Substitute's Directions and Rules, even if they are not exactly the same as mine. • Remember the Substitute is taking my place and is an equal of mine. • Be as helpful as possible. • Substitute has all Procedures! • ASSIST THE SUBSTITUTE IN FINDING SUPPLIES. • DO NOT make the substitute leave your name for misbehaviors! Substitute Procedures

  13. All members participate, share, learn from, and help one another. • Assign jobs to each member. • No one group member is to do all the work. • Practice Active Listening. • Cooperate. • Do your personal best. Group Procedures

  14. Respect all items as if they are your own. • Do not draw or write on calculators. • Do not write in Math books unless directed to do so by the teacher. • Please leave bookcase in the order in which you found it. • Please put all items away correctly before you leave the classroom. Manipulatives & Books

  15. Fire Drill • Line up • Exit room to the right • Go out doors across from the cafeteria • Code • Codes are in the sub folder • Stay in your seat and wait for teacher directions **During any emergency be courteous, do not talk, and follow directions. Emergency Procedure
