Non-Conforming Material • Finished Goods & Raw Material: • Moved into ‘hold’ sub-inventory for disposition • Customer Deviation • Re-worked • Returned to Raw Material • Scrap • Work-in-Process: • Custom CEMLI • Hold material in WIP prior to moving to next operation • Users have ability to add operations, modify processing, and/or reject material • Security restricted

Learned Lessons • Map overall process for tracking and storing attributes • Include requirements for timing and reporting • Consistent design • Understand impacts to changes in customer and supplier requirements • Goal is to standardize process and centralized ownership • Metals knowledge is difficult to automate • Develop metrics to track overall system compliance
