  3. Timetable • Reading, writing, mental maths, maths everyday • Reading records and books – please ensure in school everyday and sign/date to say you have read.

  4. Groups • Children in different groups for reading, writing and maths to ensure that the work set for them presents the right level of challenge. These groups are subject to change. • In addition to the stickers which can be earned daily, children can earn points within these groups (for correct behaviour choices, demonstrating good learning etc.) which lead to various rewards.

  5. Timetable • P.E. - Monday and Friday (with Premier Sports) • Music – violins and cellos • Spelling – given out on Monday, checked on Friday

  6. IPC • This half term we are learning about Explorers and Adventurers • You should all have received the curriculum map letter?

  7. Homework • As well as spellings on Mondays, maths and literacy homework will be given out on Thursday. Please can this be returned to school by the following Tuesday.

  8. Sharing Time • Year 4 children have shown that they are keen to share news and objects from home with the rest of their class. • They will be given the opportunity to do this at the end of the day on Wednesday. • Objects should be things they have made or items of special significance. No toys or valuables please.
