  2. Every body knows about prime and composite numbers, right? Here’s a little re-cap from those new comers :)

  3. Prime Numbers: Numbers that don’t have any factors but 1 and itself Composite Numbers: Numbers that have many factors

  4. Prime Numbers…… (fyi) the normal kind! So now that you know what that means Let’s make a list of Prime numbers! 1,2,3,11,13…………………

  5. Those were just some NORMAL prime numbers. Sophie Germain( the girl we will be reading about) has her own list of prime numbers that she used to solve Fermat’s Last theroem, but let’s not get into that now………………..

  6. Her prime numbers :) She multiplies a normal prime number by 2 ( another prime number) then adds 1. For instance………. Let’s take 11. 11x2+1= 23. Is 23 a prime number ? YES!!!!!!!! So 11 is a Sophie Germain Prime Number!!!

  7. Can you figure out these gnarly numbers?
