  4. Homework • Math • Work will be sent home in their green homework folder and returned the next day. The amount of math practice will vary according to the subject. • ELA • Pearson Reading Street online assignments: • Due by Sunday of that week online, students unable to access a computer at home will be responsible for finishing it at school during their free time. • Students are responsible for writing down homework in their planner and bringing home materials needed. • Parent written (and signed) note can excuse late homework. • Planner signed daily.

  5. Discipline • Ron Clark Rules enforced. • Planner signed with description of the infraction. • No signature = -1 bead per day not signed • No homework = -1 bead per day not turned in

  6. GT Referrals To refer your child for the Gifted & Talented program contact the school counselor, Mrs. Murphy, to request a referral packet. The referral window is August 27th- September 27th

  7. Important Points Dress Code: no frayed pants, flip flops, or distracting hair styles Transportation Changes: must be made in writing or call the front office Medication policy: all medication must be brought to school by a parent (cough drops included)

  8. Technology • Students will receive a grade in technology • Laptops • www.learning.com • Access to a computer at home is very beneficial!
