General Prerequisites • Pre-vet students must take the same general prerequisites as pre-med students • Two semesters with lab… • General Chemistry(102/104 a and b) • Organic Chemistry (220/219 a and b) • Introductory Biology (110/111 a and b) • Physics (116/118 a and b) • Physics 113 • Timeline will go up on our website

Additional Prerequisites • In addition, many vet schools may require some combination of the following: • Genetics (some require lab) • Microbiology • Lab* • Biochemistry • Lab* • Cellular Biology • Animal Nutrition* • Calculus or statistics • Humanities and social sciences • English composition • Public Speaking *not offered at Vanderbilt
