  2. Overall Need for Design • Prevention of food poisoning epidemic, recalls, and packaging money loss for packing bad food. • Design Milestones • All hardware functionally tested (3/17) • Stand for gripper/brush on the arm (3/20) • Image Processing Algorithm done (3/20)

  3. Tasks Completed • Microcontroller integrated with slide/arm • Website design • Conveyor belt tested • Frequent visits to SwRI • Meet with Business team and Mentor • Attached brush to belt – brush customizable

  4. Ongoing Tasks • Integrate slide/arm with image processor • Mount slide/arm to conveyor belt • Take complete database for simulation • Meet with business team weekly • Tweak Algorithm for Testing • Mount everything to the belt

  5. Upcoming Tasks • Full design requirements testing • Arm: Design a PID controller and test Accelerometer. • Mount housing and sensors • Synchronize all parts
