  2. What is Skills London • Formerly SkillCity, Skills London 2008 is a three day interactive event aimed at promoting skills based training and careers to young people between the ages of 14-19 • The event will provide an interactive, lively, interesting and fun environment for visitors

  3. What is Skills London cont. • Takes place at ExCeL, London 20-22 November 2008 • Run by London First with support from the LSC and London Development Agency • Over 120 exhibitors and 50,000+ visitors in 20,000m2 of space (5 football pitches).

  4. Event is zoned into 11 distinct areas; • Campus • Enterprise • City • Creative • Maritime • Green & Environmental • Design, Construction & Engineering • Aerospace, Manufacturing & Transport • Advice & Guidance • Hospitality, Tourism & Retail • Public Sector & Charities

  5. Target audience • 50,000+ young people between the age of 14-19, through school, college and other groups • NEET (Not in Education Employment Training) individuals and groups • Parents and Carers (influencers)

Getting the visitors there • Marketed to every secondary school and college throughout London and the Home Counties (1351 schools and 125 colleges) • Travel bursary available to all groups to remove barriers to attendance • Extensive marketing and PR campaign to ensure we attract the desired audience for the Saturday

  7. Cost • Priced at £250 per m2 – package includes; • Shell Scheme stand with name board • Stand Carpet • 2 spot lights • 30 word profile in event guide (given free to all visitors) • Web Link on event site (www.skillslondon2008.co.uk) • Attendance for 2 people at our ‘How to exhibit’ training day in March 2008
