What is Battle of the Books… • A reading incentive program originally created for middle school… • Students read from a pre-determined list of titles… • Students work in 6-member groups to answer questions related to content of books on the list… • Team of 12 students from each participating middle school meet to compete with other teams in the county… • The county team that wins meets for a Regional competition… • 1st Place at Regional’s goes to the State Battle!
