New for 2012 • Increased Enrollment (148 to 162) • New marketing program for school • Kindergarten program (on waiting list) • New students in upper grades • National Blue Ribbon Qualification • Only school in diocese to qualify this year! • Grades 3-7 must score in 85+ percentile • NCC Scholarships • Two students were awarded scholarships placing 3rd and 6th on the placement test State of the Parish Address

  37. Cost to Educate a Student • As of 6/30/11 it cost $6,059 to educate a child at St. Catherine • Partial Tuition – • 2012/13 Tuition increase is 4% • Tuition 2011/12 - $1,550 Reg. Fee $150 • Tuition 2012/13 - $1,610 Reg. Fee $160 • Teachers’ Salaries increase 2.5% per diocese • Teachers & school support staff salaries 2011/12 $549,408 – estimated 2012/13 $562,888 = $13,480 increase (does not include fica & benefits) • At 160 students – income rises $9,600 by increase in tuition which does not cover salary increase.
