Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. • The first full length movie. • Premiered at Carthay Circle Theatre on December 21, 1937 • It was the only one out of two who were ranked as the top 100 in 1997. (The other was Fantasia) • 1989 it was add to the United States National Film Registry for being “historically, culturally, aesthetically significant”

  3. Walt was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois During Walt early years he had an interest in drawing an art. I believe this is where he started with the Disney movies. Walt attended McKinley High School in Chicago. And died of lung cancer on December 15, 1966 History of Walt Disney

  4. History • Its located in Burbank, California. • It was original design for animation process. • Late 1940’s it started regular work. • The first films were shot in England. • 1986 the building was remolded. • And it was completed in 1990

  5. The animation process • First the story board is made. This happens when everyone gets together. • The story boards are presented as a story • The dialogue is recorded. • Then the animators start making rough sketches. (Some of the animated films have used over 50,000 individual drawings that’s a whole lot) • It goes threw the ink department when drawings are done.

  6. Animation Process Cont’d • The backgrounds are add. This is because the background is clear. The only thing that is colored is the character. • Then they are photographed. • After all of the photograph has been filmed the dialogue is add. • Then the animated film is release.
