  1. CSNAV MilestoneFAFSA Completion

  2. Have students log in to their CSNav account at: csnav.org . Click on “View Your Planning Milestones”.

  3. Next have them locate “Complete and File the FAFSA”. Then click on FAFSA on the right side.

  4. Have them enter the month, day and year they completed and filed the FAFSA. Then click save. Hint: this milestone can not be completed until January 1st of each year. Make sure that students do not complete this milestone prior to that date.

  5. The date will appear after the student clicks on save.

  6. To check for completion of the FAFSA Completion Milestone, have the students click on the Home icon at the top of the page, then click “View Your Planning Milestones”. They should see a check mark and date the information was entered by the FAFSA Milestone.
