  5. Term 2 • Macbeth: what is the root cause of evil? • Text(s): Shakespeare’s play, three versions of the play on film: Australian (modern gang style) American (PBS done in Soviet era) Shakespeare retold (Hells Kitchen) Supporting texts – Freud, H.P Lovecraft Steven King, Edgar Allen Poe
