  1. Graduation Phase I Webinar For this Webinar: All attendees will be muted. If you would like to ask a question, please use the question module located in the webinar application. If you have handled graduation in the past: Although much of the process has remained the same, there are a few changes/differences in the graduation reporting process for this school year. This Webinar will be recorded and made available to the public at a future date. The link will be located at the end of the presentation with a couple of other useful links.

Graduation Phase I Webinar Overview: The purpose of this webinar is to go over the process used for Phase I of graduation reporting, as well as give a detailed walkthrough on how to complete this phase of the process. This process was originally called April 4YR Graduation reporting. Purpose: The purpose of Phase I is to allow schools the opportunity to review and make any necessary corrections to incorrect start/exit codes the could’ve been made in the first 3 years of high school enrollments, for students in the 2019 cohort. Once this phase ends, you will no longer be allowed to edit records from a previous school year.

Report Overview Located in NEO-Graduation Module: https://neo.maine.gov/doe/neo/graduation The reports that make up the graduation process are as follows: Graduation Phase I, End of year exits, Graduation Phase II and Dropout reporting. We will be going over Phase I for this webinar. This reporting phase opened on April 1st, 2019. The report will remain open until it closes on May 15th, 2019.

  6. Graduation ReportingPhase I Navigation: Once logged in to NEO, select the ‘Graduation Data’ tab on the ribbon above, then once inside, hover over the ‘Graduation’ tab to select ‘Graduation Phase I’

  7. Graduation ReportingPhase I You will then be directed to the following page: If required, select your district from the ‘Select SAU’ drop down menu above. Click ‘View’ to enter your report

  8. Things to note: Column definitions This report is only 4-YR students Validate scenarios Year Dropped out 2019 Validate = School Cohort + Transfer Ins - Transfer Outs - Dropouts - Currently enrolled Graduation ReportingPhase I

Graduation ReportingPhase I • To edit a record, just click the underlined grade in the row you wish to edit • Can only edit records at your school • Comments required A breakdown of the Transfer-In/Transfer-Out counts from start and exit codes can be found on the helpdesk’s webpage, located under ‘Data Reporting Instructions’.
