Office of Accountability, Planning and Policy Department of Research, Evaluation and Assessment www.rea.spps.org • These files look like Excel Summary Files (Summary Data tab) from the Test Results Download feature of the Educator Portal, except: • Ns < 10 are suppressed • all schools and districts in MN are included • results are provided by grade and by subject for all students (but not by NCLB group)

Data > Data Downloads> Tab-Delimited Files Office of Accountability, Planning and Policy Department of Research, Evaluation and Assessment www.rea.spps.org Help documents are available (e.g., field descriptions) Files are organized by public and non-public schools and by subject area for each test year going back several years Tab-delimited files are very large and are intended to be used in databases; alternatively, extra data may be deleted to allow the files to be viewed in an older version of Excel (with case limits)

Office of Accountability, Planning and Policy Department of Research, Evaluation and Assessment www.rea.spps.org • Tab-delimited files are similar to Excel files from the Data Downloads page, except: • they are in text format and must be imported into databases or spreadsheets before they can be viewed • results are reported by NCLB group • These files are most useful when you are looking for results from other schools and districts in MN, reported by NCLB group; otherwise, Excel Summary Files from the Educator Portal are preferred
