  14. Newsweek Ranking Newsweek ranking of public high schools in the nation is based on the AP Challenge Index (number of AP exams administered divided by the number of 12th grade students)

But…. • CA schools are rated by this number.  • Conversation needs to continue by department. • Analysis of Data (specific to content clusters) • Effectiveness of instructional/intervention strategies used in 08-09 • Alignment of instructional content to State Standards • Ideas for refining lesson delivery (cognizant of students' learning style) • Teaching accountability - all students need to take ownership in their learning
