  1. Daniel Kwasi Twum-Acheampong- Multi-faceted Student and Athlete

  2. Daniel Kwasi Twum-Acheampong is currently enrolled at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville. He is majoring in civil engineering and plans to pursue a career in the same field upon completing both his undergraduate and a Masters degree in his field of study. 2007-2011 – Daniel attended the Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, New Jersey and graduated in 2011. He is a dedicated student who believes in the value of education and its impact on the overall development of a person. Throughout his high school education, he studied with zeal and took many advanced level courses. He made the National Honor Society. Educational Background

  3. He volunteered as a Sunday school supervisor at Ashland Church in Voorhees. He taught children between the age group of 3-6 years old, and he was responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising their activities. During the 2012 summer break, Daniel worked at Kresson View Center Nursing Home in Voorhees, NJ and served food to residents and patients according to their diet plans. Work and Voluntary Experiences

  4. He is a member of the Engineering Student Council at UVA He is fraternity member of the UVA Sigma Nu Beta and serves on its Inter-Fraternity Council Judiciary Committee. He is also involved in intramural sports on campus. His ability to converse with ease and his down to earth personality serve him well in all the activities that he is a part of.   5. His other hobbies include playing sports such as soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, golf, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoys playing the guitar, writing songs, and reading.
