Employee Feedback Discussions and Next Steps • Discussion groups held on April 15 (Greenbelt and Wallops) and April 23 (Greenbelt) • Approximately 55 employees participated – Thank you! • Summary of feedback provided by OHCM in early/mid-May • Provided important insight and clarification regarding issues surrounding the organizational culture and climate, communications, career development, and policy guidance • Feedback provided at aggregate level, in particular for organizational culture/climate and communications; specific ideas/comments provided for career development and training, and policy guidance • Several suggestions provided for improvements in the above areas

Employee Feedback Discussions and Next Steps Next Steps: • Management Retreat on June 9 and 10 • Plans/improvements being formulated, in accordance with feedback • Employees to be engaged in discussions as plans/improvements are developed • Further opportunities to be created for employee-management dialog

Initiatives in Process • Code 210 Employee Awards and Recognition Program • Code 210 Shadowing Program • Tailored training for Simplified Acquisitions – for buyers, CO’s, team leads, etc. • Customer Feedback Surveys • Increased accountability of customers for SEBs and PDTs • Revised Review and Approval Matrix • Updated templates for contract file documents

Other Current Events • Increased emphasis on reporting of metrics to HQ • Timeliness of CPARS evaluations • Task Orders under IDIQ contracts • Transfer of closeout files to Agency Closeout Contractor • Acquisition leadtimes, especially for competitions • Potential expansion of NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) responsibilities • Procurement Leadership Meeting: June 3 – 5 • HQ Quarterly Webinar on Award Fee Contracting: July 17 (mandatory for all CO’s and specialists) • Procurement Management Review (PMR) at GSFC: August 4 - 15
