Research for unit 8 project

In this research, I will explore the requirements for creating a captivating action and sci-fi mini movie. I will focus on choreographed fight scenes, varied camera angles, intense music, and engaging storytelling. The movie "Man of Steel" (2013), directed by Zac Snyder, serves as a great example of a successful action and sci-fi film.

  1. Research for unit 8 project

  2. Sci-fi and action research I will be trying to find out what u need to do for an action and sci-fi based mini movie. To make a good action film you would need coria graphed fight scenes and you would need to get different angled camera shots to make it more intense and less boring.

  3. Example of a good action and sci-fi film. A good example of an action or sci-fi movie I would have to say is 2013’s Man of steel I think its an amazing movie directed by Zac Snyder, I think it has most of if not all of the needs for a good action/sci-fi movie it has intense music with the fight scenes and when henry cavill’s superman takes flight for the first time. The fight scenes are well choreographed so they look like they are actually hitting each other and gets you on edge while your watching the movie.

  5. Final teaser poster This is my final poster for Upsurge I edited the background and created the fonts and effects of the words.

  6. locations The locations of my unit 8 are off campus at my uncles he lives near a forest that’s around 100 ackers and many of my scenes are set in that area so it would be good to film in that area. My uncles house is very big and has a lot of room so I can film some scenes there especially for the nightmare and emotional scenes.

  7. My roles The roles I have decided to take are actor and director along with my uncle. I will need other actors to help out with this project and I will need a two camera men to help out with it and myself and my uncle are producing it.
