Drafts directive and prepares directives package

1. SECNAV UNCLASSIFIED Directives Review and Approved Clearance Process for Signature Via TRIM Context &/or the Tasker System, coordinates staffing to obtain chop/ comments/concurrences from SMEs/advisors/stakeholders/ etc., as appropriate Prepares final directives package and forwards to Flag Staff Office for chain of command review for signature Drafts directive and prepares directives package Incorporates chops/comments/ resolves any issues, completes final draft, ensures it complies with directives standards and format (i.e., DSCP review) Accepts changes, responds to comments, as appropriate, makes any further necessary changes and submits latest version of draft to TRIM and checks off workflow, or e-mails to DON/AA DRMD, as appropriate Sponsor/ Action Office Contacts DON/AA DRMD to initiate compliance review Upon signature submit directives package to DON/AA DRMD Initiates TRIM workflow for compliance reviews DON/AA DRMD prepares directive for electronic posting Assists sponsor/AO with the directives process via TRIM Context (determines validity of new SECNAVs, establishes TRIM user accounts, aids in initiating, monitoring and finalizing workflow) DON/AA DRMD Initial compliance reviews completed concurrently via TRIM; each reviewer uploads review and checks off workflow Is the directive ready for signature? DON/AA DRMD sends latestdirectives review to sponsor/AO via e-mail DON/AA DRMD completes another directives review and ensures initial compliance reviews have been incorporated and forwards to DON/AA Front Office for final review No Compliance Reviews (JAG, PA/FOIA, Org., Forms/Reports, Records, Directives) Yes DON/AA DRMD finalizes and clears directive for signature. Uploads FINAL for signature version and approved clearance (OPNAV 5215/9) to the TRIM record DON/AA DRMD posts PDF to DONI and files and maintains case file of original directives package
