Activities Conducted(Jun – Oct 13) B.Tech Admission conducted for 2013 Batch with the help of all faculties & office staff FDP conducted from 04th Jun-06th Jun’13 Pre-Placement Training and HSFP for the 2014 pass out students by Accenture Induction Program for the first year students from 15th Jul - 26th July’13 Infosys conducted HIIP for the 1st Year Students 3 Days Training on communication skills & Mock Interviews for 2014 pass out

Activities Conducted(Jun – Oct 13) Online Aptitude Test training for 15 days for Current final year students Accenture Recruitment for 2014 pass out – 26 got selected & 2013 Placements - 85 Final year students participated in TSAT- Nationwide Aptitude Test Competition Skill Assessment test was conducted for Final year students initiated by CII Arranged the program schedule of the visit of faculties from Alpha & Sarabhai College Arranged Industrial Visit for the students

Upcoming Activities Pre-Placement Training for the 2015 pass out students by Accenture Online Aptitude test training to begin from Jan’14 for the 2015 pass Campus Recruitments for 2014 pass out in Jan’14 FDP & Alumni Get- Together at Christ University, Bangalore 2 days Training to improve Communication Skills for the 2015 pass out students in Dec ‘13 Visiting organisations for Placements – Nov’13

  5. Upcoming Activities Faculty Development Program in December’13 Alumni Talk for EC,CS,BM & BT from Dec’13 Conducting regular programs – Co-Curricular Activities, Faculty Interviews Study Group Activities, Conducting Scholarships Exams by Institutes like TIME, NIIT, IMS, Altius etc

  10. DURING THE YEAR • Books Purchased - 1000+ • Books issued under Book Bank Scheme - 3100 + • New Library software installed (NIRMALS) • New Library Building – Interior work is going on. • Bar-coding in progress • ISO Audit – Completed Successfully • No. of users increased (M.Tech)

Budget Allotted 2013-14 (Books – 8,00,000 and periodicals – 3,00,000) • Budget Utilized Books – 2,48,000 Periodicals – 1,28,000 (Additional 8 lakhs is needed for e-journals) • Library generated more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs through book bank schemes, book centre and other services during this year.(Jan-Oct) • Consultancy service to Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies • Assisting CS Dept. for conducting online exams. • Strength of the library staff is same.

  12. Librarian visited Christ University and National Law School of India University, Bangalore along with Director, Finance Officer and Exe. Director for designing the interior of our Knowledge Centre • Arranging Send off files with all related certificates, Conduct Certificate, etc for outgoing batch of students • Assisting Magazine Committee and News Letter committee for preparing college magazine and Newsletter

  13. Librarian is serving the college through various roles such as Gents Hostel Asst. Warden, HOD of three departments (Library, HR, Physical Education) and Faculty of Humanities and Communication skills, Associate Editor of SCET Journal, In-charge of XBHI, Blood Bank, Quiz Club, Counseling (Admission) and the committee member of Ethics, Anti-Ragging cell, Accreditation Cell, etc.

  14. FUTURE PLAN Shifting of Library to the newly constructed Knowledge Centre (December 2013). Installation of Theft Control and Access Control System and Circulation Automation Collection Development, Workshop on E-RESOURCES and Article publishing in Journals E-journals – Elsevier, ASPP (IEEE All-Society Periodicals Package (ASPP) (Jan’14 – Dec ’14) Dept. Libraries for EEE, CS & CIVIL NAAC
