Characteristics • Robust to elongated body shapes • Have webbed feet and prehensile tails • Aquatic to Arboreal • Most diverse and speciose group of salamanders (approx. 400) • Nasolabial Grooves (aids in chemoreception) • Extensively radiated in tropics • All species are lungless • Includes smallest and some of the largest salamanders (30mm - 320mm)
