  2. Survival Signs Part I Quiz Sit in your assigned seat. Put your name, date, and period on your paper. Circle Version “A” at the top right corner. This is a voice off session, please follow along. I will sign the word twice. If needed a third time, use your new vocabulary “AGAIN” to ask me to repeat a vocabulary word. Once you’re done, put your pencils down and flip over your paper. I will let you know how to pass down your paper to turn it in. 

  13. Attendance / Quick Binder Check/ Homework • If you brought your binder have it out on your desk! • I will be checking off that you have it.  • HW Due: P. 7 Syllabus

American Deaf Culture Quiz • Groups of 3. • Take turns reading the questions and answer options aloud. • Answer the questions as best as you can. • You have 25 minutes. • When you’re finished turn your quizzes face down and put your pencils down. • Practice your alphabet if you’re finished before everyone else.

  15. Fingerspelling Preview Task: In a group of four, you will take turns signing a letter of the alphabet in order. • On my cue, move your desks to be in a pod of three/four. • All students have their ABC charts out. • The first person will sign “A”, the next will sign “B”, next “C”, next “D”, then person one signs “E” and so on in a circle • After you have gone around once (all the way to “Z”), repeat but sign faster.  See how many rotations your group can complete in 5 Minutes
