  3. Why we did it • Low hanging fruit – picked! • A few BHAG’s : Zero Waste and Carbon Neutrality • Moving forward – towards what and where? • Inclusive, collaborative process • Diversity and resiliency

How we communicated our objective • Through a series of 14 facilitated discussions • Our overall objective was to gain a university-wide perspective about integrating sustainability into our campus community • This perspective, in turn, will be used by the UF Sustainability Office to inform its efforts

How we did it • Identify most and least sustainable aspects of UF • Identify strategies already employed at UF • Dream BIG • Generate “big ideas” • Develop visions of UF as a model for sustainability • Indentify tactical issues for key vision statements • Back casting to develop strategic implementation plan
