  1. CHAPTER 5 By lindseyanderson, mirandarubin, beccapolinsky, and reeves oyster (lindz, luhrubin, b-po, bon re-re)

  2. Ay yo we’re here to rap about chapter 5 • Learnin bout the triangles is keepin us alive • So hold up glenn we’re gonna teach you today • Let’s start with the medians cuz that’s the way

  3. Medians • The point of concurrency of those little lines • Is called the centroid we don’t lie • Medians start from the vertex to a opposite side • They bisect the angle and the leg, they meet inside

  4. Perp. Bisector • Perpendicular bisectors divide a leg in 2 • 90 degree angles created and it’s true • When you see this bisector, you know you got 90 degrees • It will help you out when you’re proving these • (congruent)

  5. CIRCUMCENTER • All the bisectors come together as one • They meet at the circumcenter create a circle like the sun! • Equidistant from the vertices • Knowing this fact will bring you a lot of ease • (this part isn’t a rap) • You can find the circumcenter in the middle of an acute, on the outside of obtuse, and on the midpoint of the hypotenuse.

  6. Altitude/Orthocenter • How tall are you 5’1”, 5’2”? • Measuring a triangle you use the altitude! • All of the altitudes intersect and become one • The orthocenter that’s what they become!

  7. Thx The end.
