  2. Warm-up Journal: • What’s going on in this image? • What do you SEE that makes you say that? • What MORE can you find?

  3. Reincarnation and the Caste System • In small groups, read the worksheet and answer the questions: • What is the goal of life for Hindus? • What does reincarnation mean? • How does the way a person lives their life affect their next life? • How does the Hindu system of reincarnation affect the way that Hindus live their lives? • What is the highest caste? Lowest caste? • How can you change your caste?

  4. Reincarnation and the Caste System • Discuss: • How did the caste system develop? • Does the caste system make sense? • Is the caste system good for Indian society? Why or why not? • Can you change your caste? How? • Is that “fair”?
