  2. “The man had the wind knocked out of him for a moment. But instead of picking the child up he-you will find this hard to believe cousin but I swear it is true he trampled on him and continued on his way”. (pg 14) The writer used the word “trampled” to show how badly and how evil the man had acted towards the little girl.

  3. “ From that morning on , Mr. Utterson went to the street of “blackmail house” whenever he could free him self from his legal work. He would linger near the scarred door in the early morning ,in the evening after dinner and late into the night. With a wry smile , he said to himself “If he is mr.hyde , then I shall be mr.seek. (pg 46) The writer uses the word linger and name mr.seek to show that the man is following Mr.hyde to were ever he goes to learn more about the man.

  4. “He is Satan himself!”Utterson cried to the night . And this is the man Henry Jekyll has chosen to be his friend and heir. (pg 54) The writer uses the word Satan to show how evil and dangerous Mr. Hyde really was.

  5. “she had fainted explained the inspector and when she came to it was 12 o clock an Hyde was gone but his victim lay in the road dead and horribly mangled. (pg 82) The writer is using the word mangled to show how and to what extent the man was beaten.

  6. “Mr.Utterson looked at the scarred rather beaten door that belong to a two story building that was one of several buildings around the courtyard. (pg 10) The writer describes the door as scarred rather beaten to show just how old and un kept the building really is

  7. “ the cab could only crawl through the infrequent patches of light and utterson shuddered as he caught glimps of the evil population of dangerous soho. (pg88) The writer describes the town as dangerous because it tells what kind of people live there and how they in these run down buildings
