  2. What Do I Need from You Buy at least 2 cases of paint per player per month • Level 3 – 2 cases at $6 above cost • Level 2 – 3 cases at $4 above cost • Level 1 – 4 cases at $2 above cost I can forgive you sliding a little if you are actively helping at the field. N-tense should be your primary resource for paint unless at FPO practice/event or given to you as a gift. Draxxus is our field paint, so we should make sure we promote it’s use.

  3. What Do I Need from You Work during N-tense Sports tournaments • Level 3 – clean-up after, ref rec. ballers at $4/hr • Level 2 – clean-up after, ref rec. ballers, possibly ref tournament sometimes at $6/hr • Level 1 – primarily ref tournament, take care of preparing and cleaning of fields at $8/hr All money earned will go into team accounts to be used for tournament entry fees and paint only.

  4. Paint Prices

  5. What Do I Need from You Team must regularly play tournaments • Level 3 – mostly local/some regional events (N-tense, YJP, Gateway, maybe SEPS) • Level 2 – some local/mostly regional events • Level 1 – member of regional and play full series, maybe a national

  6. What Do I Need from You • Be available to work at the field whenever necessary. Level 1 will be first called and you should attempt to learn as much as possible about field operation to help me out. • Keep roster listing current on N-tense forum • Discounts and prices should be kept confidential • Maintain a good image for N-tense and paintball • Help bring in new customers continually • Regularly attend monthly dinners (1st Tuesday)

  7. What You Get in Return • I will credit $5 to team account for each jersey with N-tense Sports logo as long as it meets standards • Sub-account on ntensesports.com for team website (i.e. ntensesports.com/~lethal) • One N-tense barrel bag per player • Play at field without field or air fee • Credit $100 for each corporate banner sold • Credit $1 player for setting up/promoting group

  8. What You Get in Return Receive discount on products less than $200 wholesale. • Level 3 – 10% discount • Level 2 – 15% discount • Level 1 – 20% discount $40 over wholesale price for items $200 or more. Covers shipping and $20 profit. N-tense will not handle warranty work on discounted items.

  9. Check out the Stats Money generated by sponsored players • Paint purchased • 4 cases x 20 players x $2 = $320 • Products purchased • $20 x 20 players = $400 Total = $720 • Sunkist • $.30 x 20 players x 100 drinks = $600 Total = $1320

  10. Check out the Stats Bills to pay • Field rent - $650 • Electric, phone, internet, propane - $350 • Porta-johns/Garbage - $150 • Labor - $350 • Insurance - $150 • Advertising - $400 *** • Business loans - $500+ Not to mention compressor fuel, repairs, lost tools, etc. Total: $2550 – much more than $1320

  11. What does that mean? Sponsored players will never pay the bills Sponsoring players is only beneficial to the field if: • They provide free/cheap labor • Reffing and helping customers • Cleaning up around field and not making messes • Fixing things that are broke and not tearing up • They provide free/cheap advertising • Talking to friends/family/school about playing • Promoting tournaments/events on websites • Presenting a good image/example at the field and events The money I lose by sponsoring you is written off to advertising budget, so you need to earn it.

  12. Now Check out these Stats Money generated by rec. players Only 25 players per week paying full price • Field/air fees • $20 x 25 players = $500 • Paint • $4/500 bag x 25 players = $100 • Sunkist • $.30 x 25 players x 1 drinks = $7.50 Total = $608 x 4 weeks = $2432 Much closer to $2550! That doesn’t include the extra paint and air they will buy if they are having fun.

  13. What does that mean? Rec. players are a necessity • They need to enjoy themselves • They need to come back • They need to tell their friends We all know how expensive paintball is and how many people play for a while and quit It’s crucial to constantly bring in new customers All these are true for tournament teams as well!

  14. How do we do that? Make them feel great about their day! • Congratulate them on good moves/games • Squeegee their guns • Give them tips • Help them clean up • Learn their names, • Make sure they are having a good time • Let them know we’d love to see them again
