  9. 2Samuel 7:11-22 David did not think God owed him anything.

  10. 2 Samuel 11-12 David sinned—Took Correction—Repented

  11. Matthew 5:1-11 David’s attitude WAS the Beatitudes…

The Psalms “O Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth?” (8:1) “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’…”(14:1) “I love you, O Lord, my strength” (18:1) “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me…” (23:4) “To you O Lord I lift up my soul, in you I trust O my God” (25:1)
