  6. Journal The students sat in on a meeting with Senator Chun-Oakland where concern was expressed about the House Budget Bill. March 15, 2010 was Environmental Awareness Day at the Capitol and the students got to see a few displays. Students were introduced on the Senate floor by Senator Ige and Senator Chun-Oakland At the end of the day, students sat in on a Education Committee hearing on setting a designated number of school hours per year.
