WHere is it? • India is part of Asia also, its a large country there. • Facts about it. • Did you know India is the 7th largest country in the world. • We, the British, ruled most of India from 1849 until 1947.And then it became a free country. • The weather in India is not the same any were ITS SO HOT

  3. Incredible places in India The Lotus Temple Taj Mahal The Taj Mahal is a great place in India and is in Agra .Also it’s a palace. Did you know that the Taj Mahal was build hundreds of years ago! The Lotus Temple is a Temple Like a lotus! People go there to pray. The Lotus temple is in New Delhi. It was built in 1986.

  4. Life in Chembakolli. Chembakolli is a village in India and hardlyany one has any money. In the school they have 1 computer for every one. Chembakolli is a village surrounded by forest

  5. chembakolli Houses Chembakolli is a village where most of the people that can’t afford to live in the big city live. They make their houses out of but and wood also straw. There is a step when they have a flood the water doesn’t come in. Their houses have no front doors and no windows.

  6. Mandir A Hindu temple is called a Mandir. They have statues of different gods. They ring a bell to wake them up then they feed them honey and fruit. Lastly the wash them in milk. HiNduism Aum Gods Hindus believe in many different gods. Here are some of them. Glossary Hinduism- is a religion with lots of gods. Aum- a special symbol in Hinduism

  7. Fabulous food Curry This is some curry In India they don’t just buy curry they make curry. There fabulous curry can be very spicy or sometimes it can just be plain. In class 5 we did some curry cooking and then we had some poperdoms and naanbread.

  8. Sports India's favourite sport is cricket, hockey, tennis, shooting and also archery. India are very good at cricket.

  11. Clothes India was the first country to grow cotton. In India men can wear suits when going to work, but like in ancient times men in India wear a long piece of cloth called a dhoti. The ladies wear saris.
