Need for Design • To prevent the loss of property, pet, and/or children • Statistical Facts- • DOJ reported an average of 2,185 children missing every day • ASPCA states that 65% of households in the U.S. have pets • Common knowledge: Everyone will or had misplaced a personal item in their lifetime Milestones: • Order all parts 2/6/2012-complete • Design website 2/16/2012-complete • Initial Testing 3/30/2012-complete • Debug prototype 4/12/2012

  3. Task Recently Completed • Final Report Draft completed • Tested for thresholds at 2, 4, and 6 meters outdoors/indoors (took approximately 200 samples total) • Source code built for Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), thresholds, audio range indicator • Demo Day Poster

  4. Ongoing Tasks • Finish the Android Application: single out one specific MAC address, user interface

  5. Upcoming Tasks • Encasing for MC and BTM (Wednesday) • Testing and debugging the prototype in preparation for demo (cross our fingers)
