  1. This walkthrough demonstrates how to find out if the AU library has access to a journal either online or in print using the journal’s title.

  2. From the library’s home page, select the link “Find Articles” on the left menu.

  3. Select “Search for JOURNAL title”

  4. On the next page, enter the title of the journal, for example Bioethics, into the search box and click “search.”* *If no results show up after you click search, the library does not have online access to this journal.

  5. The results page will display all the library’s databases which contain this journal. Click on a database to reach the journal’s page in that database, where you can search or browse the journal issues. Before the list of databases you will see the years included in our subscription for this journal.

  6. If you cannot find a journal in the online databases, search the catalog to see if we have it available in print (there is a separate guide for searching for items in the catalog).

  7. Finally, if you have any questions, please ask us at the information desk. You can contact us whenever a reference librarian is on duty by phone 630-844-7534, text us at 630-796-7615, email: libref@aurora.edu, or chat with us online via the library’s homepage.
