  1. Mrs. Mendoza’s Class Week of April 2nd Don’t forget to sign daily planners and sign V.I.P. folders and have them returned by Friday. You must return all test papers sent home. I am required to keep them on file for the year. Don’t forget to send in a daily snack with your child. Upcoming Dates STATE TESTING Week of April 8th School Fair – Friday April 12th Reading – We will be reading TheUgly Vegetables and learn about sequencingand homophones. The test will be on Friday. Language – Pronoun and Verb agreement. Test Friday. Spelling – knee, knife, knot, gnaw, sign, wrist, wren, thumb, lamb, debt, alone, idea, certain, field, hundred - words with silent letters – The test will be Friday. Math – we will continue with Chapter 8, covering time and graphs. We will also complete some review activities on measurement. Math Measurement project is due on Friday……you can be as creative as you want. Have fun with it !! Science – we are continuing with the rocks and minerals unit. We will test on this unit on Wednesday of next week. Have your student read over their chapter and notes in their notebook to prepare for the test.
