Given India’s rich cultural and religious history, every Indian, regardless if his/her religion wants to dedicate sufficient time to prayer and spirituality. Right from visiting places of prayer, to participating in religious festivities and occasions, to dedicating sufficient time to prayer in their homes, it is fair to say that the average Indian spends a good part of his/her day performing certain religious traditions. The purpose of a spiritual visit One of the major reasons why devotees opt for a religious tour, is because it helps them attain inner peace, tranquillity, helps them get a better understanding of their religion, to come closer to God and to attain spiritual completion. As religion has played a major role in India, religious visits are something that is extremely close to the hearts of every God loving religious person.
