  3. WHAT IS TIMBER WOOD?? Timber is wood that has been processed into beams and planks, a stage in the process of wood production. Lumber may be supplied either rough-sawn, or surfaced on one or more of its faces. Besides pulpwood, rough lumber is the raw material for furniture-making and other items requiring additional cutting and shaping. It is available in many species, usually hardwoods but it is also readily available in softwoods.

  4. RECYCLED TIMBER?? Timber recycling or wood recycling is the process of turning waste timber into usable products. Recycling timber is the environmentally friendliest form of timber production and is very common in countries such as Australia and New Zealand where supplies of old wooden structures are plentiful. Timber can be chipped down into wood chips which can be used to power homes or power plants. Once re-milled the timber is commonly sold to consumers in the form of timber flooring, beams and decking.
