Job Description A programming language is basically a language that allows a human being to communicate with a computer. write, test, and maintain the detailed instructions, called programs, that computers must follow to perform their functions. conceive, design, and test logical structures for solving problems by the computer.

  3. The Pros High Job Satisfaction -  You get to use your creativity and mind. You Determine Your Destiny - You can develop your own software product.  Well Paying Jobs - As a computer Programmer you can earn from $60,000 to $100,000 and more! Multiple Career Options

  4. The Cons Fast Paced - learning new information quickly and competently. Hardcore Reading - Read several books each year just to keep up with new technologies. Technology Driven - passionate about technology at heart. Health Problems - Spending a lot of time sitting, typing and looking at the screen may cause your wrist, eyes, and back pain. 

  5. Why I want to be a programmer: Computer programming is one of the fastest growing occupations currently. Majors related to computer programming are among the highest paying in colleges and universities. The lifestyle we live today with our tablets, and mobile phones wouldn’t be possible without computer programming.

  6. Income The average annual income in 2004 was $62,000. 50 % earned between $47,000 to $81,000 in a year. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $37,000 and while the highest 10 percent earned more than $100,000 in a year. You can earn pretty good money if you like what you are doing.

  7. Some of the Top Languages Used

  8. Details on different languages Java is one of the most used languages in electron devices. It can be found in cell phones, PC’s, network devices, ecommerce systems and etc. It is used in industry computers. C++ is being used to extend and build on what is already there.

  9. Artificial Intelligence AI includes everything from planning and searching for solutions to machine learning. Areas of AI: Building game playing programs for chess and etc. Designing programs to diagnose and solve problems in a spacecraft or medicine. Solving difficult problems. Working in the field of robotics.

  10. The firsts The first computer programmer was a female, named Ada Lovelace. The first game was created in 1961. The first virus was created in 1983. The first computer was a loom called the Jacquard loom, an automated, mechanical loom, which didn’t use any electricity. The first high-levelprogramming language was FORTRAN.
